Genus. in 1895 in Latvia, Latvian, from farm laborers, secondary education - com. Higher education institution of the national west, 3 years in Moscow. Member of the CPSU(b) since 1917; from 1918 to 1920 served in the 2nd Riga Latvian Rifle Regiment. Before his arrest, he was the chairman of the Strelniks collective farm. Lived: Kolomovka village, Chudovsky district, Len. region Arrested on December 9, 1937. Accused of participating in a Latvian counter-revolutionary espionage and sabotage group. Sentenced by a resolution of the NKVD Commission and the USSR Prosecutor's Office dated January 10, 1938 to VMN. Shot on January 19, 1938. Burial place - Novgorod. Rehabilitated by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated June 29, 1957.
