Born 12/07/1926. In March 1943, 1 was arrested on charges of “participation in the anti-Soviet organization “Revival of Russia””, sentenced under Article 58 to 10 years of correctional labor and sent to a transit camp in Kotlas. According to playwright V.S. Frid, who was under investigation in the Lubyanka prison at the same time as Velyaminov’s father, 17-year-old Peter was arrested in the same case with his father, a former tsarist officer. Released in 1952. Rehabilitated in 1983. Member of the Memorial Society since 1996.
