Genus. in 1872 (1873) in the village of Piteriya. In 1900 he graduated from the Kazan Theological Academy. In 1902 he switched to missionary activity and went to China to the Beijing Spiritual Mission. Since 1914 - Bishop of Cheboksary, second vicar of the Kazan diocese. Since 1915 - Bishop of Yerevan, vicar of the Georgian diocese and full-time member of the Georgian-Imeretian Synodal Office. Since 1916 - Bishop of Kustanai, vicar of the Orenburg diocese. In 1917 he was appointed Bishop of Enotaevsky. Arrested on May 25, 1919, on charges of organizing a White Guard conspiracy. Shot on June 23, 1919.
