Genus. in 1938 in Rostov-on-Don. He moved to Kyiv to live with relatives, and in 1954 became a novice of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. In 1956 he entered the Kyiv Theological Seminary. In 1959 he was expelled from the seminary for political reasons. Ordained as a deacon at the Tashkent Cathedral. In 1964, after graduating from the Moscow Theological Academy, he was appointed priest in the city of Kagan, Uzbek SSR. In 1969 he built a new temple. Arrested on December 12, 1969 for distributing religious samizdat. In 1970, he was sentenced to 3 years in the camps on charges of “slander of the Soviet system”, Art. 191-4, 93 part I, 210 part II of the Criminal Code of the Uzbek SSR. He was held in the Bessopan camp, Kyzyl-Tepa, Bukhara region. In 1971, due to unrest in the correctional facility in the village of Kyzyl-Tepa, he lost his right leg. Transferred to Sangorod in Tashkent, then to a disabled camp in the Tashken region. Released from prison as a disabled person on December 14, 1972. He served in Fergana and Krasnovodsk. Since 1976 - cleric of the Pskov diocese. In 1992, at the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women, he opened a parish comprehensive Orthodox school of regents. In 1993, at the Church of St. Matthew the Apostle in the village of Piskovichi, he opened a shelter for disabled orphans. Until 02/22/2008 - rector of the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women in the city of Pskov. Released from office by decree of Archbishop of Pskov and Velikoluksky Eusebius (Savvin), but with the preservation of the right to serve. In the last years of his life he served in the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women (from Skudelnitsy) at the Myronositsky cemetery. Rehabilitated on April 28, 2006 by a decision of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan. Killed on August 5, 2013 in Pskov. He was buried near the wall of the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women.
