Genus. in 1939, Russian, b/n, secondary education. Lived in Moscow. He worked as a driver at a car depot since 1966. In 1977 a drunken colleague Stepanov inflicted injury on Asmolov, which led to group III disability. For which he was sentenced to 1 year of correctional labor, but was immediately released under an amnesty. In search of justice, Asmolov wrote letters to the Central Committee of the CPSU, to the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, to the USSR Prosecutor's Office, to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions. 07/16/1984 was sentenced by the Moscow City Court to 1.5 years in prison for slandering employees of institutions to which Asmolov addressed his letters. Rehabilitated by the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR.
