Reproduction methods:
Genus. in 1954 in the village. Parafievka, Ichnyansky district, Chernihiv region. He studied at the faculties of journalism and philology at Kyiv State University named after T. G. Shevchenko. Worked in newspaper editorial offices. Arrested on June 11, 1980 in Cherkassy for distributing leaflets criticizing the Soviet system. Convicted on October 24-31, 1980 by the Novocherkassk Regional Court under Article 187, Part 1 and 211 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 3 years in labor camp. He was kept in IV 301/59 in the village. Labor Vinnitsa region. Released on June 11, 1983 under administrative supervision for a period of 1 year. He worked as a loader at the Khimreaktiv plant in Cherkassy. Arrested on August 28, 1985 on charges of malicious hooliganism. Convicted on December 29-30, 1985 by the Sosnovsky District Court of Cherkassy under Art. 206, part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to 5 years of strict regime. He was kept in the maximum security camp YUZH 313/100 in the village. Temnovka, Kharkov region. Released on May 23, 1990. Settled in Kharkov.
According to the first verdict, he was rehabilitated on December 22, 1989, on the second – on May 3, 1990 by the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR.
Member of the board of the Kharkov regional society "Memorial", co-chairman of the Kharkov human rights group, editor-in-chief of the all-Ukrainian bulletin "Human Rights".
