Baranov Evgeny Iosifovich
Genus. 02/23/1937 in Lodeynoye Pole. Builder, ship mechanic. He worked as a master builder at the HOZU SMU UMVD. Convicted on 08/28/1961 by the comrades' court of the SMU KHOZU Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs by decree of 05/10/1961 to 5 years of deportation. Arrested in November 1961 by the KGB in Arkhangelsk. Convicted by the Arkhangelsk Regional Court under Art. 70, part 1 to 5 years of labor camp, the remaining period of deportation was replaced by 3 months of labor camp, for a total of 5 years and 3 months. In custody in the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, in Dubrovlag (p/o Yavas, ZH-385/11, 385/7). After the end of his term, on February 26, 1967, he was transferred to the Arkhangelsk region to serve his deportation. Released from exile in January 1972. Upon arrival in Leningrad, he was detained by the police and placed in the Leningrad psychiatric hospital. Rehabilitated by the Arkhangelsk Regional Prosecutor's Office in 1992. Died in St. Petersburg in October 2013.
