Genus. in 1939 in Leningrad; Russian; higher education; member of the CPSU; radio engineer. For some time he taught radio business in the city of Kandalaksha, Murmansk region. Arrested on July 23, 1985. Sentenced by the Murmansk Regional Court on February 21, 1986 under Art. 70 Part 1 and Art. 15-64-A of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 7 years in prison, with confiscation of property. He served his term in the Perm camps (institution VS-389/36). At the beginning of 1988, the Supreme Court of the RSFSR revised the verdict: Art. 70 was withdrawn and the case was dismissed for lack of corpus delicti, Art. 64 reclassified to Art. 83 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (“illegal border crossing”), the term was reduced to 2 years 7 months. Released on March 10, 1988.
