Arrested in March 1983 for writing works from an anti-scientific position (for example, “Immortality is real”), “containing fabrications that discredit the Soviet state and social system,” for illegal healing and fraud. Convicted in October 1984 Kyiv Regional Court for 8 years of imprisonment under Art. 187-1, 143 part 2, 266, 84 part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR, 190-1, 147 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. In 1986 - escaped from prison, was detained after 6 days, the second court extended the term by 2.5 years. 05/26/1989 the term was reduced from 8 to 6 years. Released in 1990
