Genus. in 1952 (1957?) in the Kharkov region. Arrested in Moscow in 1957. for trying to find out about the possibility of traveling abroad, he was placed in a mental hospital in Slavyansk, Donetsk region, where he spent 3 months under compulsory treatment. Dismissed from work from the Pedagogical Institute of Slavyansk. Arrested 05/12/1977 in Kharkov for meeting members of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group. He was placed in the Kharkov mental hospital for examination and found healthy. After receiving permission to leave, he left the USSR on October 16, 1977 and settled in Canada.
