June 1973 in Dnepropetrovsk for writing letters to newspaper editors and state leaders criticizing the regime and demanding departure from the USSR. Convicted by the Dnepropetrovsk regional court. Sent for compulsory treatment to a special psychiatric hospital at the Dnepropetrovsk prison. Passed examination in the village. Igren near Dnepropetrovsk in July 1973.
