Budulak-Sharygin Nikolai Alexandrovich
Genus. in 1926 in Kharkov. In 1941, he was taken by the Germans to work in Germany. In 1946 he settled in England, where he received a technical education, lived there for twenty years, got married and most recently worked as a representative of a large London electronic equipment company. On the affairs of this company, he was sent to Moscow to conclude trade deals. Conducted negotiations with the Committee for the Coordination of Science and Technology under the Council of Ministers of the USSR, with the Ministry of Electronic Industry. In 1968 he was arrested by the KGB. In 1969 he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for “treason.” He actively participated in the struggle of prisoners for their rights. In 1978, after his release, he emigrated to England.
