Born in 1937 in the Ukrainian SSR, Ternopil region, Podvolochyssky district, Ostomye village; Ukrainian; member Komsomol; 5th year student at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Medical Institute. Lived in Kyiv. Arrested on August 28, 1965 for anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda. Sentenced by the Kyiv Regional Court on March 11, 1966 under Article 62 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 3 years in a penal colony. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga. Released in January 1968
