Genus. in 1932 (1934?) in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Electrical technician. In 1952 he was arrested and sentenced to death for participation in the UPA. The execution was replaced by 10 years. Released in 1962In 1971 he was arrested again. For a “newly discovered murder” committed before 1952, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court sentenced him under Art. 56 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (“Treason to the Motherland”), Art. 58 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (“Terrorist Act”) and Art. 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (“... participation in an anti-Soviet organization”) to 15 years of strict regime, 3 years of exile and confiscation of property (including a house built after 1962). He received credit for the 10 years he served in 1952-1962. In 1972 announced his renunciation of Soviet citizenship. Until 1972 was kept in Mordovian camps, in camp 35. Got sick with tuberculosis. 01/05/1976 sent into exile in the Tomsk region, Chainsky district, village. Podgornoye, Lermontova 34/4. He was in exile until 1978. 03/18/1981 by the people's court of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. charged under Part 2 of Art. 206 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (“malicious hooliganism”) and Part 3 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR ("Illegal carrying ... edged weapons ..."), sentenced to 3 years of strict regime.
