Higher education, non-partisan. 09/29/1980 sentenced by the Supreme Court of the GSSR sentenced under Art. 71 of the Criminal Code of the GSSR (analogous to Art. 70 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR) to 5 years of a strict regime penal colony and 3 years of exile. Accused of distributing with 2 accomplices “anti-Soviet” proclamations calling “for the liberation of Georgia” in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Gori and other cities of Georgia. He served time in the Perm camps (1980-1983 - "Perm-35", 1983-1985 - "Perm-36"). After his release, he served as chairman of the regional branch of the Popular Front of Georgia (formed in 1988). In 1991 he lived in the city of Rustavi (Republic of Georgia). Died.
