Genus. in 1945(?) In 1974 - external surveillance officer of the KGB of the Armenian SSR. Since 1974, on his own initiative, he collaborated with the CIA (according to some sources, for a reward of 4,900 rubles, necessary for a bribe for the release of his father, who was in prison on charges of theft of state property). A year later, he was exposed by employees of the VGU KGB of the USSR along with an agent named Kopoyan. In 1975 he was sentenced to 12 years. In 1987 he was released and returned to Armenia. In 1993 he moved to the USA. Convicted (accused of extorting money), spent a year and eight months in prison. In 1996(?) he returned to Armenia. Announced his intention to sue the CIA. Didn't work as of 1997.
