Genus. in 1938. In 1972, he refused to return to the USSR from a tour of Mexico, then returned. In 1973, he was sentenced to 4 years in the camps for “treason” under Art. 64 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (using Article 43). In 1976, at the end of his sentence, he was released from Vladimir prison, then lived in Luga (Leningrad region).
