Blokhin Nikolay Vladimirovich

Genus. in 1945. Graduated from a petrochemical technical school, was the champion of the DSO "Dynamo" in sambo. He was baptized at the age of 32 and received the blessing of Father John Krestyankin for publishing and writing. First he worked in the Publishing Department of the Moscow Patriarchate under the leadership of Metropolitan Pitirim (Nechaev). Then, together with friends, he began publishing and distributing spiritual literature. Arrested 04/06/1982. In November 1982, the Moscow City Court sentenced under Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (“Engagement in prohibited fishing”) to 3 years of general regime. In prison he began to write. The term of imprisonment was extended on April 15, 1985 by the Saratov Regional Court for religious propaganda (he read his works to cellmates). In 1986 he was released due to the easing of persecution for religious activities.
