Genus. in 1948 in the Ukrainian SSR, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Kolomyia district, Pechenizhin village; Ukrainian; higher education, graduated from the Lvov Polytechnic Institute in 1970; worked as a mechanical engineer at the Selmash plant in Kolomyia. Member of the Union of Ukrainian Youth of Galicia. Members of the group considered themselves followers of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, but their goal was to achieve the independence of Ukraine through non-violent means. Arrested 04/13/1973. Sentenced by the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Court on 08/09/1973 under Article 62 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR, 64, 19-223 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 5 years in a penal colony. He served his sentence in the Perm camps. Released in 1978. Returned to Ivano-Frankivsk. Died 12/14/2008.
