Genus. in 1927. Arrested on June 15, 1970 for the intention to hijack an airplane, because. could not obtain permission from the Soviet government to travel to Israel. I took part in the group "Airplane Case". In December 1970 he was sentenced to death. After many protests around the world and the intervention of major government figures from different countries, 31.12. 1970 death sentence commuted to 15 years imprisonment. He served time in Mordovia. Died on August 25, 2015.
