Tried in 1954 under Art. 70 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR - 2.5 years of imprisonment, in 1967 under Art. 15 and 103 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 5 years. Released in 1972. Arrested on April 13, 1983 by the USSR Criminal Code for the Leningrad Region. At the time of his arrest in 1983, he worked as a worker at the Samarkand Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR. Charged under Art. Art. 190-1 and 218 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced by the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Leningrad City Court on August 11, 1983 for a combination of crimes to 3 years in a high-security penal colony. He was imprisoned in penitentiary colony UN-1612/34 in the city of Leninsk-Kuznetsky, Kemerovo region. He worked as a workshop cleaner at the Elektrosignal plant facility UN-161234. Arrested on February 27, 1986. Sentenced by the Kemerovo Regional Court on June 19, 1986 under Article 70 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 6 years with the addition of the unserved term, a total of 6 years 1 month. In 1986-1987 imprisoned in the Perm camps ("Perm-37"). Released on 02/05/1987 under amnesty. By the Resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated May 13, 1992, the verdict in terms of conviction under Art. 190-1 was cancelled, the case was dismissed for lack of corpus delicti on the basis of the Law “On the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression.” In 1988 he emigrated through Israel to the USA and lived in Los Angeles. Member of the International Organization of Former Soviet Prisoners (ASSPP).
