In 1980, after many years of surveillance, Druskin’s apartment was searched. His diaries were confiscated, the contents of which became the reason for his expulsion from the USSR SP (07/10/1980). After this he was forced to emigrate (12/12/1980). In May 1989, the Leningrad branch of the joint venture recognized his expulsion as “immoral.”
