Zatikyan Stepan Segbovich (Segbosovich)
Years of life: 1946-1979
Reproduction methods:
Born in Yerevan, Armenian SSR; Armenian; unfinished higher education; 5th year student of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute. Together with artist Haykanuz Khachatryan and student Shagen Harutyunyan, he founded the illegal National United Party of Armenia. Arrested 07/11/1968.
Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the ArmSSR on 03.01.1969 under Article 65 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the ArmSSR, 67 of the Criminal Code of the ArmSSR to 4 years in prison. He served his term in Dubravlag and Vladimir Prison. In 1972, after serving his sentence, he began working as a transformer assembler at the Yerevan Electromechanical Plant; in 1975, he applied for renunciation of Soviet citizenship and sought to leave the USSR, but was refused. Arrested in 1977 as the organizer of terrorist acts in Moscow committed on 01/08/1977. Sentenced by the Judicial Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to death by firing squad on January 24, 1979. Shot on the same day.
