Born 10/19/1897 in the Karakul district of the Ural region; from peasants; member of the RCP(b) since 1923. In 1919, he was mobilized into Kolchak’s army, a month later he fled, then a Red Army soldier on the Polish front. In 1921-1923 studied at the workers' faculty in Yekaterinburg. In 1924 he entered the Faculty of Industrial Agriculture of the LPI, and in 1930 he graduated from the institute. Before the arrest, the chief engineer of the plant in the village of Ken-Aral, Fedorovsky district, Kustanai region. Arrested 02/27/1933. Sentenced by a resolution of the OGPU troika in Kazakhstan dated June 29, 1933 under Article 58-7 to 8 years in labor camp. Released by decree of the Kogpu dated January 9, 1934. Rehabilitated by a visiting session of the OGPU board in Kazakhstan on 01/09/1934 for lack of corpus delicti.
