Genus. in 1929 in the village. Zhurov, Rohatyn district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1945 he joined the youth OUN. In 1948 he graduated from the Rohatyn Pedagogical College. In 1951 he entered the correspondence department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Teachers' Institute and worked at school. In 1954 he moved to the city of Kostanay and entered the Leningrad Theological Academy as a correspondence student. Arrested for anti-Soviet agitation on September 27, 1957 in the city of Kustanay, Kazakh SSR. Convicted on January 10-11, 1958 under Art. 58-10 part 2 to 10 years of labor camp. He was held in Taishet, camp 601, 019, 410 and in Mordovia, camp 5, 1, 11. Released on September 27, 1967. After his release he worked as a medical electrician. equipment. Since 1990, he took up public work and was elected as a deputy of the city council of the first democratic convocation. Member of the Prosvita Society. Since September 1993 - editor of the newspaper "Christian Messenger". Died on March 4, 2014 in Kolomyia.
