Genus. in 1939 in the ESSR, Tallinn; Estonian; higher education, graduated from Tallinn Polytechnic Institute; heating engineer, artist at the NTI Bureau.
Arrested on December 13, 1974. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the ESSR on October 31, 1975 under Article 68, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the ESSR to 5 years in a penal colony. Served his term in Perm camps, camps No. 35 and 36. Released on December 13, 1979. Returned to Tallinn, was under supervision until 1981. Rehabilitated by the Supreme Council of the ESSR in 1988. Participated in public life, founder of the National Independence Party of Estonia.
