Genus. in 1885 In 1903 Graduated from the Nikolaev Cadet Corps in 1912. – Petrograd Technological Institute, mechanical department. Remained at the institute, invited as a laboratory assistant in the engineering laboratory of the institute. He entered the L. Nobel plant, where he worked as a junior designer, independent designer, head of the mechanical part of the Marine Department and assistant chief engineer. He independently developed drawings of a light, high-speed two-stroke engine for Bars-type submarines produced at the plant. In 1914 invited to teach at the Shipbuilding Department of the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute. In 1916 appointed as a consultant on the mechanical part of the underwater navigation department of the Main Directorate of Shipbuilding. In 1918 invited by the Marine Engineering School to teach a course and supervise the design of marine engines. In 1920 According to an all-Russian competition, he was elected professor of the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute at the Department of Heat Engineering. 03/06/1922 elected professor of the Maritime Academy. 07/26/1923 By order of the Navy People's Commissariat for Maritime Affairs, he was dismissed on indefinite leave.
