Genus. in 1937 in the Latvian SSR, Talsi district, village of Royunes; Latvian; 5th grade education; fireman on the steamship "Dvina" of the Baltic Sea Route. 1956 was convicted under Art. 58-10 part 1, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, released in 1959. on parole. Lived in the Latvian SSR, Kandava.
Arrested on December 17, 1960. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the Latvian SSR on February 17, 1961 under Art. 70 part 2, 72 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 11 years of penal colony. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga. By the Resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Latvian SSR dated March 1, 1967. the period was reduced to 10 years.
