Genus. in 1947 in the city of Dubno, Rivne region. Graduated from the Poltava Evening University of Journalism, journalist.
In 1966-1969. served in the army. In 1969 arrested and convicted by the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Court on January 27. 1970 under Art. 187 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (“slander of Soviet reality”) to 2.5 years of imprisonment in general regime camps. He served his sentence in the city of Berdyansk, village. Apolonivtsi. After his release, he worked as a sailor at the Dnepropetrovsk river port, a tower crane operator for the Poltavaprombud trust, and chairman of the Poltava regional association of the Prosvita society.
In 2000-2002 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 3rd convocation, in 2003-2006. - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IV convocation, in 2006-2007. - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 5th convocation,
since 2007 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VI convocation. Pensioner, editor of the newspaper Nashe Slovo.
