Genus. in 1955 at the station Chungar, Ukrainian, member of the CPSU. Graduated from the Kiev Military School, radio engineer, major in the communications forces. Arrested on July 25, 1990. on charges of betraying military and state secrets. Sentenced by the Tribunal of the Moscow Military District on January 25, 1991. according to Art. 15, 64 clause 2, by 5 years of the penal colony. He was kept in Perm camp No. 36, and took part in all protests in the camp. Released 02/07/1992 Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On pardon". After his release he went to Ukraine.
