Born in 1939 in Moscow; Jewish; secondary education. Controller of Mosvodostat, evening student of the philosophy department of Moscow University. Arrested on 05.10.1961. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on 09.02.1962 under Art. 70, Part 1, 72 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 7 years in a labor camp. Imprisoned in Dubravlag and Vladimir prison. Released on 05.10.1968. Rehabilitated on 29.03.1991 by a resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR. He worked as a methodologist in a public library, lived in the Latvian SSR, in the city of Riga. Arrested on 15.06.1970. Sentenced by the Leningrad City Court on 24.12.1970 under Art. 70 part 2, 15-64-A, 72, 15-93-1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. By the ruling of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated 31.12.1970, the capital punishment was replaced with 15 years of imprisonment. Imprisoned in Dubravlag. Released on 28.04.1979 with deprivation of citizenship and expulsion abroad. Died on 22.12.2024 in Israel.
