Genus. in 1955 in Leningrad, member of the Komsomol, student at the Leningrad Institute of Water Transport. Arrested on June 15, 1973 for distributing leaflets calling for a boycott of the elections. Convicted by the Leningrad City Court on August 23, 1973 under Art. 190-1 by 1 year of the ITC. He was kept in the Astrakhan region, village. Kamyzyak. Released on June 15, 1974. He graduated from LISI in absentia, a civil engineer, and worked as the head of the technical department of trust No. 63 of Glavleningradstroy.
