Genus. in 1930 in Leningrad, lived on the street. Belinskogo 1/32, apt. 35. Was arrested on December 13 (10), 1958 by the KGB in Leningrad. Charged under Art. 58-10 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By a verdict of the Leningrad City Court dated March 18, 1959, he was sentenced to 6 years in prison. He was kept in Ozerlag (Chuna, Taishet) and Dubravlag (OLP No. 7, 14, 3, 17, 1). By a resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated December 3, 1962, the penalty was reduced to 4 years. Released on December 25, 1962. Rehabilitated 06/11/1991. In May 1972 he emigrated to Israel, worked at the University of Tel Aviv, professor of astrophysics.
