Orekhov Viktor Alekseevich
Definition: Captain of the Fifth Directorate of the KGB of the USSR
Reproduction methods:
Genus. in 1944 on the Orekhovo farm, Putivl district of the Sumy region of the Ukrainian SSR; higher education; officer of the KGB in the Moscow region. Lived in Moscow. He worked in the Moscow Regional Directorate of the Fifth Directorate of the KGB (ideological counterintelligence). Arrested on 10/30/1978 for warning dissidents about searches and arrests. Sentenced by the Military Tribunal of the Moscow Military District on May 18, 1979 under Art. 75, 260 by 8 years ITC. He served his sentence in a special zone for former law enforcement officers in the Mari camps. Released from prison in 1986. On April 11, 1997, for security reasons, he was forced to go abroad. Currently lives in the US under a changed name.
