Genus. in 1928, Harbin China; Russian; higher education; in 1960 he graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Kharkov Medical Institute; pharmacist, laboratory assistant at the central regional hospital, studied by correspondence at the Literary Institute, poet. Lived in Kameshkovo, Vladimir region. Arrested on July 11, 1973 for distributing anti-Soviet materials, including Chronicles of Current Events and his own poems. Sentenced by the Vladimir Regional Court on May 21, 1974 under Art. 190-1 by 2 years of ITC. Member of the Moscow Helsinki Group since 1977. Participant in the creation of the Group for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the USSR. Arrested 12/07/1979. Sentenced by the Vladimir Regional Court on June 13, 1980 under Art. 70 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 7 years of imprisonment and 5 years of exile. He served his term in the Perm camps and Chistopol prison, and exile in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Released from exile on March 20, 1987 by pardon. He emigrated to France, where he soon died. Rehabilitated on September 17, 1991 by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in both cases.
