Arrested in March 1935 He was kept in Leningrad, in “Kresty”. By resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated March 4, 1935. sentenced to administrative deportation along with his family and, as an SOE, deprived of the right to reside in 15 regime cities. He served his exile in Samara. He died in exile on September 15, 1941, and was buried at the Smyshlyaevsky cemetery near Samara. The decision of the Presidium of the Leningrad City Court dated January 11, 1958 was rehabilitated.
