Genus. in 1940 in Moscow, in a family of hereditary artists. He worked actively as an illustrator in the magazines “Around the World”, “Youth”, “Smena”, “Young Guard”, “Ogonyok”, and took part in many prestigious exhibitions organized by the Moscow Union of Artists. In 1965 he became a member of SMOG (“The Youngest Society of Geniuses”). In February 1965 in the library named after Furmanov on Begovaya Street the first performance of the society’s poets took place against the backdrop of his paintings. Open persecution by the authorities began, as a result of which in March 1966, following Joseph Brodsky, he was sent into exile as a “parasite.” By the decision of the Moscow City Court he was acquitted and returned to Moscow. In 1973 he became a laureate of the international competition of science fiction artists "The World of Tomorrow". In 1991-1994, he was the founder and chairman of JSC Talents of Russia. Since 1995 - member of the Professional Creative Union of Artists, and since 1996 - member of the International Art Foundation. Belongs to the school of naive artists.
