Ogurtsov Igor Vyacheslavovich
Born on August 22, 1937 in Stalingrad. Higher education, semitologist, worked as a reviewer-translator at the Research Institute of Information. and technical-ec. research. Lived in Leningrad. Arrested 02/15/1967. Sentenced by the Leningrad City Court on December 3, 1967 under Art. 64-a and 72 for creating and leading an anti-Soviet organization to 15 years in a high-security penal colony (of which the first 7 years are in prison) + 5 years in exile. He served his prison term in the Vladimir prison, from 1974 - ITC VS 389/35 (Vsesvyatsk station, Perm region) (June - Aug. 1974 - camp hospital in the village of Barashevo (Mordovia). Served exile in the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1982 - 1987 ) Released in 1987. At the end of his sentence he returned to Leningrad. In 1988 he emigrated, in 1992 he was restored to Russian citizenship. Since 1993 - in St. Petersburg. Died on September 13, 2023.
