Arrested on November 24, 1956, on charges of drawing up “anti-Soviet documents.” Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the AzSSR on July 20, 1957 under Art. 72 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan SSR to 7 years of labor camp. In custody in Dubravlag (village Yavas, Zubovo-Polyansky district, Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). By the Decree of the PVS of the AzSSR dated April 28, 1960, the period was reduced to 3 years 6 months. Released on May 24, 1960. Until 1991 he lived in Khabarovsk.
