Partashnikov Anatoly Mikhailovich (Prat Naftali)
Member of the underground groups "League of Democratic Revival" (1951) and "Socialist Union of Struggle for Freedom" (1956)
Parents were repressed in 1938. In 1951, together with classmates I. Mednikov and A. Fedman, he formed the "League of Democratic Revival" (distributed anti-Soviet leaflets). In May 1953, they produced a leaflet on behalf of the "Committee of Democratic Unity". In 1956 - a student at the Kyiv Medical Institute, a member of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League. In February 1956, he created the underground group "Socialist Union of Struggle for Freedom". He distributed several leaflets on 28.02.1956 - in mailboxes of houses in Kyiv. The next day, 01.03.1956, all members of the organization were arrested. Sentenced on 08.06.1956 by the Kyiv Regional Court to 6 years in a labor camp. In custody in a camp for political prisoners in Potma (Mordovia). Released early in 1960. From 1962 to 1968 he studied at the Faculty of Philology of Kyiv University (Romano-Germanic Philology). He worked as a translator of scientific and technical literature. In 1971 he repatriated to Israel.
