Genus. in 1926 in Kaunas, Lithuanian, specialized secondary education, non-partisan. Arrested 02/17/1947. Convicted in 1947 by the military tribunal of the Baltic Military District   according to Art. 58-1a, 58-8, 58-11 to 25 years of penal colony, 5 years of exile and 5 years of loss of rights. In custody in Karelia (1947), Vorkuta (1948-1949), Inta (1950-1957), Vorkuta (1957-1958), Irkutsk region (1959-1961), Mordovia, village. Yavas (1961-1966). Released on May 28, 1966 by decision of the military tribunal of the Volga Military District . Lived in Kaunas. He was the chairman of the Kaunas club of political prisoners "Club-58" (as of 1990). In 1996 he ran for the Seimas from the Christian Democratic Union. He was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of the Cross of Vytis by the President of the Republic of Lithuania in 1997.
