Sentenced by the Lvov Regional Court on August 13, 1973 under Article 62 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR, 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 7 years in a penal colony and 5 years in exile. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga, Vladimir prison, and exile in the Magadan region. While in exile, he worked as a carpenter in the regional special economic association. Due to deteriorating health, in June 1981 he was transferred to the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan. Lived in the village of Saralzhin, Uilsky district, Aktobe region. KazSSR. Arrested on August 31, 1982. Sentenced by the Aktobe Regional Court on March 4, 1983 under Art. 56 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kazakh SSR to 10 years of penal colony and 5 years of exile. He served his sentence in the Perm camps. By Decree of the PVS of the USSR dated 02/02/1987. pardoned
Rehabilitated. In the 1990s, he was a member of the leadership of local authorities in Sambir region (Lviv region).
