Genus. in 1942 in the village. Lisniki in the Kiev region. He graduated from the Zhytomyr Cultural and Educational Technical School, served in the army for 3 years, studied at the Kiev University. T.G. Shevchenko at the Faculty of Philology, majoring in Ukrainian language and literature. For 2 years he worked as a literary editor at the publishing house "Musical Ukraine", after which, persecuted by the KGB for political activities, he worked in various jobs (fireman, club manager, mechanic). In 1972 he was arrested for anti-Soviet agitation. Sentenced by the Kyiv Regional Court in September 1972 to compulsory psychiatric treatment. Sent to the Dnepropetrovsk special psychiatric hospital, in March 1976 he was transferred to the Kazan St. Petersburg, then to a mental hospital near Kiev (1979?). In 1988, he worked as a mechanic in one of the Kyiv enterprises. Since January 1990 - member of the National Union of Writers. Died on November 19, 2017 in the Kyiv region.
