Genus. in 1954 in Moscow; Jew; higher education; mining engineer, M.N.S. Institute of Mining, USSR Academy of Sciences. Arrested on June 8, 1982 for publishing the samizdat magazine “Options” in 1977-1982. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on July 13, 1983 under Article 70 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 7 years in a penal colony and 5 years in exile. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga - ZH-385/3-5, UE-148/st.4 and Chistopol prison. Released 03/16/1987 by pardon. After his release, he immigrated to Israel.
