Genus. in 1927 in Moscow; Jew; higher education; critic, writer. Lived in Moscow. At different periods he was published in the magazines “Grani”, “Syntax”, and after accepting Orthodoxy with his wife Zoya Krakhmalnikova - in the religious magazines “Vestnik RKhD” and “Nadezhda”. In 1982 he was expelled from the Union of Writers of the USSR.Arrested on January 23, 1985. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on January 8, 1986 under Art. 190-1 to 5 years of exile. Released in 1987 In 1990 he was reinstated in the Writers' Union.
