Arrested on April 22, 1970. in Odessa for the authorship of the book “The Detriment of the One-Party System and Its Consequences” and for preparing for the hijacking of an airplane. Convicted on October 12-13, 1970. Odessa Regional Court under Art. 56, 62, 75, 222, 89, 217 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR for compulsory psychiatric treatment. He was held in Dnepropetrovsk St. Petersburg (11/14/1970-04/01/1979, 03/02/1983-02/25/1983) and Kazan St. Petersburg (04/03/1979-02/26/1982). Released on February 25, 1983. Settled in Dnepropetrovsk. He worked as a glass container receiver and retired. Member of the Ukrainian Republican Party. Died on November 9, 2011 in Dnepropetrovsk.
