Genus. in [1941] in the village. Fast Source of the Altai Territory, German (according to documents - in Rostov-on-Don, Russian). Member of the CPSU from 1969 until his arrest. Graduated from the Trinity Aviation School, polar aviation technician, worked on Wrangel Island. In 1966 he was transferred to the Sheremetyevo air squad. Member of the 14th and 19th Antarctic Expeditions (1968-1969 and 1973-1974). In 1974 - aircraft technician of the Myakovsky aviation squadron. Arrested on January 29, 1975 for reading and distributing “samizdat” and “anti-Soviet” literature. Convicted by the Judicial Collegium of the Moscow City Court under Art. 70 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 5 years of exile. He served his exile in Vorkuta. Released in August 1980. In 1989, rehabilitation was denied. He worked as the chief engineer of a state farm in the Odessa region. In 1993 he was rehabilitated and returned to Moscow. Until 2005, he worked as a heavy machine mechanic at a brick factory, then retired.
