Genus. in 1922 in the village. Yukhnovo Velikoluksky district [Pskov region]. Veteran of the Great Patriotic War, awarded orders and medals. In 1947 he was accepted into the party (expelled before the trial). Technological engineer. Lived in Leningrad, worked in the association (LPO) "Red Guard" (since 1956). Arrested on March 13, 1980 while trying to enter the house where employees of foreign missions in Leningrad lived. His “Appeal” was discovered with him, which he wanted to convey to the West. Also incriminated were the creation of “slanderous documents” - anonymous letters (in V. Viktorov’s article “The Lampoon”, published in Leningradskaya Pravda on June 29, 1980, it is said that there are one hundred of these letters), sending them to government agencies, newspaper editorial offices and magazines and the writing of eight “anti-Soviet documents”, which, according to the verdict, set out “demands for the removal of the CPSU from the leadership role in the country, for the abolition of universal conscription and the monopoly of foreign trade.” At the trial he expressed remorse. Sentenced on June 2, 1980 by the Leningrad City Court under Art. 70 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years of suspended imprisonment. He worked at the Krasnogvardeets LPO as a grinder. Retired since 1988.
