After the camp - since 1951 in exile in Bratsk. In 1953 released, went to Moscow. After graduating externally for ten years, he entered the Moscow State Economic Institute (Moscow State Economic Institute), after graduating in 1959 he was enrolled in graduate school. Rehabilitated in 1959. In 1962 - 1968. - junior researcher at the Institute of Economics and Organization of Industrial Production of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1968 he returned to Moscow: he was enrolled in the order of transfer from the Institute of Economics and Organization of Industrial Production of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences to the Central Institute of Economics and Mathematics (CEMI) of the USSR Academy of Sciences to the position of Art. engineer. In 1969 gets a disability. In 1970, he was relieved of his post due to the forced transition to a disability pension under pressure from the leadership of CEMI.
He signed several letters in defense of those arrested and convicted, participated in the work of the Initiative Group for the Protection of Human Rights in the USSR, collected materials for the Chronicle of Current Events and actively promoted its distribution, as well as other samizdat and tamizdat literature. At the same time, he managed to establish a channel for the transfer of samizdat to the west.
Couldn't get a job for 5 years. In 1975 enlisted to work in the State Central Theater Museum. Bakhrushin as a worker, then appointed to the post of restorer-artist. In 1979, due to a change in the staff list of the names of positions, he was transferred to the position of a carpenter, engaged in the repair and restoration of museum and art furniture made of valuable wood. Then he worked at the Museum of the History and Reconstruction of Moscow, the Mayakovsky Museum, the Museum of A.N. Scriabin, where he worked until the end of his life.
