Genus. 02/09/1942 in Baku, AzSSR; Georgian; b/p, higher education, graduated from the Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after. Gubkina. Geologist, senior researcher at the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR. Lived in Yerevan. Arrested on November 10, 1982 for producing and distributing samizdat. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the Armenian SSR on July 22, 1983 under Art. 65 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Armenian SSR to 6 years of penal colony and 3 years of exile. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga - ITU ZHKh-385-3/5 (village of Barashevo, Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Released on 02/14/1987 according to the Decree of the PVS of the USSR on pardon dated 02/12/1987. After his release, he was reinstated at work. Rehabilitated on May 28, 1990.
